Medicine Shields
These shields shown here are created in my most popular sizes which are 3", 4" or 5" in diameter. Lengths from top to bottom range from 9" to 15" long. Please contact me if you'd like to confirm a specific size, ask what else I might have available in my studio or if you'd like to negotiate a custom piece.
The circle stands for unity and the unending cycle of life. The cross-like feather designs represent the Four Directions, Four Elements, and Four Faces of Man (Physical, Mental, Emotional & Spiritual). The Medicine People teach that if we put our energy into understanding and believing in what the medicine shields represent, that our healing and wholeness comes from within. That my friend is a good thing! Learn to believe in yourself.
